Classes offered during the summer
Madison Academy is offering three classes this summer. Algebra II, taught by Mr. Mosher, has been a regular part of the summer curriculum. Another math seminar will be offered this summer and is labeled Mathematics Transitions. The seminar will meet Tuesdays and Thursdays, June 9 through July 9 (except June 18), from 8am till noon. The instructor is Mr. Johnson and the seminar is for students entering grades 8 or 9 and is a review of key topics of basic math and pre-algebra skills to help secure a foundations for Algebra 1. No high school credit is issued for this review course. Finally, there will be a Study Skills Boot Camp taught by Mrs. Fuentes. It will meet Monday thru Thursday, July 27-30 8am to noon. A $50 credit will be applied to the 1st month of tuition at Madison Academy after successfully completing this course. This is for students entering 9-12th grade.
