Iowa Basic Tests give Polaroid snapshot of academics

During the morning, for three days-September 19-21, the entire Freshmen and Sophomore classes are involved in testing.  It is important for students to see how much they have learned and grown since last year.  The results also can be used to predict ACT scores as seniors.  A special class schedule was built to give students the best opportunity to be successful. The Juniors are on the History Tour, the Seniors are at Southern for a couple of days and the students volunteering for the Appalachia Outreach program leaves Wednesday.
