The ninth grade class worked on creating Haikus from “Waves at Matsushima” by Sotatsu. Here is their work.
2020Lady Knights win at Dayspring Academy
The girls basketball team won their game against Dayspring Academy on Tuesday, January 19. The score was 45-18. The team overall record is 12-5. The next basketball game is another girls game. It is an away game against West Academy on Tuesday, January 26 at 5:30pm.

Madison lost two at Christian Community High School
The Lady Knights lost by one point to Colts in an away game played Saturday evening, January 17. This drops the girls varsity record to 11-5. The boys varsity lost by two points in the late game. Their overall team record is 6-9.
The next game is an away contest for the girls varsity with Dayspring Academy, Tuesday, January 19. The game starts at 6:00pm.

Madison splits with Merrol Hyde
The girls varsity team won their game when they competed at Merrol Hyde Magnet School. Their team record improves to 11-4. The boys varsity team lost their game by a score of 45 to 61 and now have an 6-8 record. However, they played with character, correcting a referee call on an out of bounds play.
The next game is an away game at Christian Community High School, Saturday night, January 16. The girls game starts at 7:30pm and the guys play at 8:30pm.

The Lady Knights lost their match-up with Pleasant View Christian Academy in an away game. The girls varsity basketball teams overall record is now 10-4. The next game is an away game, Thursday, December 14 at Merrol Hyde and starts at 5:30pm.
The boys varsity team won their game improving their overall record to 6-7. Their next opponent is Merrol Hyde, also Thursday, December 14 and that game starts at 7:30pm.

Lady Knights continue win streak
The girls varsity basketball team played Saturday night and competed with West Academy. The Lady Knight won the game and their overall record improves to 10-3. Their next game is Tuesday, December 12 and is away at Pleasant View Christian. Tip off time is 6pm.

Chess Tournament signup begins
The National Honor Society is sponsoring a chess tournament for students and staff. Participants will compete in a round robin format to determine ranking then play an elimination finale. The cost to play is $5 for students and $10 for staff.
Class Volleyball Tournament
Wednesdays in January
The SA is hosting the annual class competition Volleyball Tournament on three Wednesday mornings in January (Jan. 6, 13, and 27) during regularly scheduled assembly. Both spirit and activity trophy points will be calculated. Start practicing with your team now! We would love our parents to take a lunch break and come watch the students play from 11-11:50AM. During the school day students are encouraged to wear their 2015-16 CLASS T-SHIRTS with their uniform bottoms.
Participate in the Late Night Volleyball Tournament
The annual Late Night Volleyball Tournament is January 23 at 6pm. Each team must have a minimum of 6 people including 2 females. The cost to play is $10/person…but it is free to cheer! Concessions will be available throughout the evening. Register your team by contacting Gloria Sutherland or Dan Johnson at 615.865.4055.
