Juniors compare transcendentalism and Christianity
The web pages listed below were created by the junior class for their American literature unit on the American Transcendental movement. They were asked to create pages explaining the main concepts of transcendentalism, as well as showcasing the major transcendentalist authors and their works. Though transcendentalism is a philosophy, not a religion, the class discussed the similarities and differences in the ideals of transcendentalism and the ideals of Christianity.
