Students go and serve in Appalachia

Over one third of the students of Madison Academy in addition to parents and staff are participating in the annual Appalachia Outreach program.  Students are placed into teams with a work supervisor and they complete general construction work that benefits the people of that community. Some of the projects include building wheel chair ramps, framing in doors, flooring, plumbing, roofing, and painting. This program was started by Alan Craig in 1998 and is continuing to impact the lives of all involved.
